FREQUENCY showcases the seventh generation of graduates from the Parsons MFA Textiles program working at the cutting edge of craft and modern technology.Â
Each unique capstone project explores repetitions and complexity through weaving, knitting, crochet, felting, embroidering, beading, 3D printing, and biomaterials. The exhibition is a bold statement about the power of textiles, created in a unique educational program whose impact reverberates within and beyond the field of textiles.Â
Parsons' MFA Textiles program is a dynamic hub of creativity in New York, where our multicultural, cross-disciplinary community of makers and designers engages in a rich exchange of ideas and perspectives through hands-on textiles making. In our research and textiles practices, we blur the boundaries between craft and high-tech and address sustainability, justice, well-being, and beauty in the world through our work. Â
